BlueCart Takes Stage to Talk Restaurant Tech at "Launchology" DC

Jag was at Penn Social today, sitting on a panel with none other than DC restaurant legend Jeff Black. They discussed the operations side of the restaurant business, with heavy emphasis on the fact that a restaurant is a business. The obvious take-away for hopeful restauranteurs was that if they want to make it in the industry, they have to be smart about every aspect of their operation, including ordering. There is nothing smart about wasting time every night leaving 8 different voicemails or sending 8 different emails to different suppliers, which is why Jag told the audience, “We built BlueCart (formerly Improvonia) to make communication better between restaurants and suppliers, so that everyone can get back to what matters most for their business.”
