BlueCart, a web and mobile based ordering communications platform, announced today a new feature for the Sales Rep App by BlueCart. Each time a buyer places a new order to the sales rep's company, the sales rep associated with that account will be notified the order number and message on their phone's lock screen as well as email.
“We realize that sometimes emails don’t get read for whatever reason,” states BlueCart CEO, Konstantin Zvereff. “We are giving each sales rep another form of notice through push notifications. This will allow the sales rep to reach out to their clients as soon as possible after each placed order.”
In addition to emails, sales reps will receive push notifications to their phone. Push notifications work in the following way; once a buyer places a new order or sends a new message the sales rep will receive a notification on their phone that displays the order number as well as the message that accompanies it. The BlueCart Sales rep app icon will show the total number of orders and messages associated to that Sales rep account.
These notifications provide each sales rep an up-to-date view of all orders and messages placed to his or her customer. In a matter of moments, the sales rep can fulfill and manage all those incoming orders. In addition, sales reps will still receive emails that display order information and messages.
